Scuffed my Wheel

I scuffed my wheel yesterday, about 1/3 of the rim right at the edge closest to the tyre, can it be sorted with something or will it need a refurb??

If you've damaged the lacquer, it's almost certainly a refurb job

ah thats nothing that, well not enough to pay for a refurb anyway I would try to polish it out myself

thats exactly why I dont let my gf drive my car. She keeps asking to be put on the insurance lol.

You can't polish that!!! There's no lacquer left to polish!

If you want it fixed it will need refurbishing

This bit is definitely deep enough to need refurbishing to repair -

fair enough I wouldnt pay like £70 for that though, my opinion

get sum body filler, put in scratch allow to harden. Rub done with very fine wet and dry until smooth, reapeat filling stage for imperfections etc. Get down to halfords ask them to find paint that resembles wheel. Touch up. Job sorted. Them Seat alloys corrode after a few years so nowt to worry about.
