induction kits

Hi i have only just bothered to register, but read the leon mk 1 forum all the time to learn ways of improving my leon cupra 02. i have added a Forge splinter dump valve, relocation kit and a pipercross vector kit. I have heard there is better induction kits ie: enclosed kits like dyna twist and K+n appollo kit. Is this true and should i buy one of those? Please could i have some input on this thanks. :help:

if they were that bad then they wouldn't sell them. as long as you have a decent cold air feed then it should be ok.

and welcome to the site, the best source for technical info thats for sure :)

most of the guys have the enclosed Dynatwist, BMC or carbonio setups

I have the carbonio setup on mine and I love it, its gives the best atmospheric sound (chav i know he he)

wow that was some quick responces. i like the look of that carbonio filter but dont know whether to go for that or the k+n apollo one. my pipercross vector is close to the engine and gets hot quickly oh and i love the blow off noice but im no chav. :)

I have the jabba induction kit and its great for dv noise, heat sheild seems to work a treat too!:D

carbonio feeds RIGHT down into the wing, the furthest point away from the engine, but not too low so its not a danger from deep puddles of course:)

no worries about the quick response, I live on here, quite literally

i have the BMC filter on mine bit i'm considering getting an open filter for the colder months too.
