Evening all

Collected my brand new Emocion Red FR TFSI today and I am loving it already....

Went for Red, 18" Alloys, Bluetooth, Ipod and Mudflaps......

Fuel consumption on the drive home wasn't brilliant but hey, I'm sure it will settle down!

3 miles out from the dealers, a massive stone lands on the car with a bang, but luckily it got the windscreen and not the bodywork! I now have a large stone chip in the winscreen which I need to sort out!

As the dealers had not touched the car with the regulation sponge and chamois, I got it home, washed it, dried it and then applied 2 coats of chemical guys jetseal 109 to the car.......it looks fantastic! I'd recommend this stuff to anyone and thanks to Detail Wizard for the advice on what to use.

One last big thumbs up for the sales team at Castlegate Seat in Norwich. Not only did they give me a cracking price on the car, the service I had from them was first class and they were a pleasure to deal with. Whilst I was checking the car over before paying for it, the salesman even pointed out that they have had to order a new alloy because one had been chipped slightly in transit. No doubt I would have spotted this but top marks to them for already ordering a new one and pointing this out.......

Glad to hear your happy with your car & dealer, more than can be said about mine. Will be going in again on saturday to have a little chat about the quallity of Seat's paint and why two 4" square paint blemishes were not picked up during the PDI, valeting or when it was supergarded.

I am well chuffed with it. Gonna think about the sideskirts in a month or so I think. Apart from that, it will stay standard. The bluetooth is a great feature as well and overall I must say I am very impressed with the car, even if it has now only got 75 miles on it!

The new car smell is fantastic inside.......

I'm actually looking forward to the drive to work in the morning.......

Have to agree, the sideskirts look good and I think I will be going for them! I spoke to a local dealer today and he reckons about £300 painted and fitted.....does this sound about right?

Yeah another fine looking Leon, was tempted to buy a red one but only if seat offered the FR or Cupra in Ruby.....now that would be worth having.

I went for red mainly because my previous cars have been silver and grey and I wanted something a bit different! I wasn't brave enough for yellow!

My only concern with the red is fading / scrathes / swirls etc showing up more than on silver etc..........2 coats of Jetseal 109 on it today has given a nice bit of protection for a while though I guess.........

The sideskirts will be ordered, no doubt about it...........I'm guessing my front mudflaps would have to be removed though.......
