Had a weird problem today...was driving along on the motorway put it into 5th quite early (2k revs) and around 2.5k the car started to hold back, as in power, hold back, power hold back etc. And then after 3k it seemed ok?

I thought maybe MAF or Coil pack or Sparks? But then was confused by the fact its only happening in 5th?

Like a stutter/small judder? then carryed on as normal? if so i had the same problem yesterday im guessing its proberly a coilpack starting to breakdown underload as my mates LCR done the same thing. Im waiting for it to go completly so i can get it on vag-com and determine what cylinder it is.

David.

IK22's shall be ordered on Monday (when i get paid lol) although reading some forum posts I might go for the safer option of NGK BKR7EiX which I've found for £29.99

apparantly the standard ones arent up to scratch....I might as well upgrade them for £29.99 when its not that much more expensive than the standard ones. PLus mines remapped so i'd rather get something stronger

I'm running the NGK BKR7EiX plugs are no complaints at all. I changed plugs and air filter at same time and the car felt like new! carsparkplugs.co.uk for best price.

well in the middle of changing the 4th I got rushed to hospital lol, however I managed to drop one of the charge pipe bracket screws somewhere :( and crack the lil black bit on the side of the coil pack....great!!

Will the ceramic bits damage the engine at all?
