Been thinking of a few things to do with my car, i cud do with a spoiler (Definetly!). I would like your opinions on these:

I would go for the 8v spoiler. Bet you could pick one up at a fraction of that price 2nd hand.

16v spoiler is better then both of them IMO

bumper is nice makes the car look high at the front tho

Quite like the bumper, but don't like the way it angles up at the front.

I think the bumper wud be alrite on my car cos its lower than the one on the foto above ^^^^

The foto gives a better angle than the one on ebay, i like it even more now...... altho im still deciding whether to get to or not!

With the bumper i was thinking of maybe putting a leon front splitter onto the bottom of it.

What would the front bumper be made of? Stay away from fibre glass at all costs!

I aint sure what it wud be made of. Wat wud u recommend instead of a fibreglass bumper.

Not my cup of tea really, not sure how it would look on its own without the rest of the kit. Your car though so if you like it go for it.

One made out of plastic! Ive found lots of people have stolen the designs of the same bumper and made the to sell themselves. Look around for it made out of plastic. I wish i had never put fibreglass on my car.

Saw this on ebay:

Asked the seller about it and found out it was a gti spoiler for a 93-99 model. Its brand new, still in bubble wrap and still in primer and comes with fitting guide and all nuts, bolts etc etc.

Shud retail at 90 quid (Dont know if thats right )

I ended up getting the spoiler for £19.99 plus £7.00

Grand total of £26.99, bargain or what!? (Well i think it is!)

The spoiler is still in the primer and has the fitting guide and all the nuts, bolts, rubbers etc to fit it.

Well when i saw it i had one of those 50-50 shud i/shudnt i moments, then i thought that it wud actually be more than 27 quid so thats y i went ahead and bought it.

Shud it be easy enuf to fit myself??

Cruiser, If its any consolation, I sold a spoiler to a lad here in brum for 25 quid. so you didnt do too bad
