1.8 20v turbo newbie help

as im looking to buy a cupra 1.8 20v turb i would like to get a revo done straight away on the site its says that the stage 1 will give 206bhp but it doesnt say about stage 2 what power figures would that be if anyone knows.

ace i really cant wait now i didnt realise it was so cheap which is good and nice power gains.
should be a good leap from my 130bhp vts to a 200bhp cupra

you be happy with the power from a saxo to the cupra but dont expect it to handle like a saxo unless you get a cupra with some good suspention setup.

you wont get 206bhp out of a standard cupra from Revo

Revo's figures IMO (yes thats my opinion..oh and personal experience) are always a little optimistic

you will get more of a realistic 190-195bhp, but quite alot of torque....too much IMO as it kills the car through heat soak, leaving it to die well below 5k

yea when i mine rolling roaded with revo stage 1 turbo back exhaust and few other bits no fmic i only got 189bhp but 217 l/b torque.

yes its cheap to get to 190-195, stage 2 revo you really need exhaust,intercooler,downpipe ect so then starts adding up:p

i dont really know alot about cupras but im aiming to get around the 200+ bhp mark and i would be happy. im going to get all the handling sort out aswell.

the heat soak is the killer, the tiny and rubbish smic you get on the ibizas simple cannot cope with the torque being put through the wheels

i remember mine was I think 196 peak power at 4700rpm, and it tailed off quite badly after 5k

combination of the K03 and smic

well ill ahve mine on rollers again soon so see waht diffrance a fmic and stage 2 will ahve made

not a massive amount of difference I would have thought, peak power should certianly show a significant improvement though:)
