I must agree. i know its wrong. I work in a body shop though, so basically I'd repair my car if anything happened. And i mean, the only way the insurance can get you on things like that is if they send an engineer round to look at the damage. and by that time i could have had the wheels off and removed the spacers. I know it's not right though.

thats depending on the type accident / crash!

you might struggle to get them off before an inspector looks at your car if your in intensive care!

er exactly, i think we've all not declared something at some point, ie first car we were skint, I did, but if you can afford it its worth declaring, I'm declaring everything on this car and when I renew this month going for a company that won't mind the things i have planned

Think of the other party too - if your at fault in the accident and your insurance is void since you didn't declare an item (Uprated ARB, Spacers, Re-Map, New/Uprated turbo, uprated fuel pump, larger injectors - all things not 'easily' identifiable when looking at a mangled car) then you may have the repair bill for another vehicle(s) combined with the £££ lost on your own vehicle. Just my opinion.

"but if you can afford it its worth declaring" - this makes sense to me

I can honestly see what all you guys mean. I am insured on this car under my parents name for £1000 a year and I have an old Mini that is totally mine with no parents at all on and that was £750 this year to insure....so nearly £2000 a year to insure??? Plus running costs? I can always say i put them on just now and were trying them out. ;) seriously though, I do understand. :givein:
