good cat?bad cat?

is it normal to be able to smell the cat nearly all the time when "booting it!" mostly when stopped after a thrash it stinks.just ive got 1st mot coming up and i have light on dash.also have new lambda?i have a feeling it has high emissions???
any ideas??

I've never smelled my cat, sorry!!
But honestly I've had my car for four years and light to drive it quite hard on occasion and necer had that rotten egg smell out of the cat. I've been on here a while and never seen it mentioned either have you tried the search?
