Hi,

Current spec of my car
Miltek CAT back
Forge DV
Laguna FMIC
Chipped 200BHP ish

I'm wanting to upgrade a K03s soon and as such want to replace the standard downpipe and cat.

I've been looking at the Miltek downpipe and cat and the THS Decat.

Just wanting some advise on which one would be best suited to my setup

Cheers :)

im guessing you mean you are wanting to upgrade to a k03s?

*queue the K03s, its not a worthwhile modification* brigade....

I would strongly recommend Miltek, they seem to be the chose exhaust on here, although they are veyr expensive

the DP & Race CAT are one of the best mods you can do to the ibiza as it really removes the bottle neck that strangles the ibiza

i've got k03s and blueflame dp and i'd recommend it. Its a bigger bore than the milltek so unleashes a few more ponies i think.

i just typed nearly the exact same reply in another thread lol

dude there was no need for the comment

he stated he is going to do it, so nobody is going to try and put him off it. you have totally the wrong idea about those of us who dont fancy the k03s. if he asks if its worth it, then we'll give our opinion

imo atleast he's doing it properly and going full hog with all the right mods

i have a milltek DP myself and i'm more than happy with it, however blueflame DP is also available and cheaper. its also 3" although imo it doesn't matter much for k03s

I have the Milltek DP/Cat on mine cant fault it apart from the tit that fitted it. In the garage as we speak having the joints sealed again. Gives a really nice sound lots of popping and burrrrrbling. I felt a massive differance when i fitted mine seemed to pull alot harder. Which cant be a bad thing ;). As for the comment about the k03s in my opinion if your not preperd to pay the ££ to go BT, then i think the k03s is the way forward as you already have all the mods and its only a extra £250ish for a few more ponies. And set up right up your looking at decent power, Leaving those tie wearing M3 owners in your rear view. Mines being fitted next weekend :D

My 2p.

lol - well almost about the M3 owners, until you reach top end!

The DP+CAT is one of the best engine mods for the Ibiza, even on a K03, good gains are to be had with just this modification alone

Scorpion exhausts are very good, and give a very nice burble on tick over and a nice roar upon giving it some...not sure if Scorpion do the DP+CAT though:blink:

Id say mid range aswell, Easy enough to get to 120/30mph after that she starts to die, (on a private track of course)

I've got a AM 3" DP + sports cat (same as blue flame) noticed a differance boost came in earlyer and harder well worth it, as for a decat it will invalidate your insuranse and does;nt make much differance over sports cat IMO.

I'll have my milltek DP and cat for sale soon so keep an eye out on the for sale section.

Well nothings gone wrong with mine in the last 8 months, So i have nothing to grumble about. Cant comment on other peoples experiences, but reading some of the threads theres no major problems just common faults that every car can occur. I dont understand people that slate the reliability of there car but keep it for X amout of years. Thats not a dig at you Daz just thinking of some of the previous threads thats been posted.
