i was on the phone to jim at star performance today trying to get my hands on the miltek dp/cat but was told it may be a problem because they don't make them anymore!!

anyone else heard this before?

if this is the case does anyone know where i could get my hands on one?

blueflame would also be considered.

yeah, i've been emailing a few places today tryin to find one!!! can you recommend a stockist for the blueflame?

i'm not goin for ko3s, heard it aint really worth the money for negligable gains.

contact nigel at blueflame direct...he'll give you a good price.

from the looks of what mods you're looking to get, k03s would only really cost you the cost of a used turbo and fitting (which cost me about £250)

k03s is worth it if you do it properly. e.g. dont stick with a k03 remap

if you are going K03s route Forge FMIC is highly recommended to ensure peak power is better

BF IMO, are pretty good, so give them a call

eg dont stick with revo you mean? Cant wait to get mine fitted and get it on the rollers, Im pretty sure i wont be anymore than 10bhp away from a custom map. When logged and set up accordingly its just as good as a 'custom' map but for the price of a £50 upgrade as most people that go revo stg2 already have stg1 installed.

even if you max out your revo settings mate, your not going to get near a custom map's output on a k03s.

thats the problem with "mis information" on here, revo is a k03 map, and no wander people complain that its not worth changing turbos, its like running a k04 on a k03s map, pointless.

I personally have never seen a k03s ibiza with revo over 225bhp. (personally) (mk3 that is, not mk4, cos revo for the mk4 is made for the k03s dont forget so they seem to get good gains, e.g. 240bhp +)

but certianly a custom map would perhaps be better suited to ensure the most out of all the mods, i.e. Jabba, P-Torque etc

I dont doubt that a custom map would be better as it takes all the mods into consideration, but what im saying is there have been quotes on here on revo k03s stg2`s making 240+ once set up, so would it really be worth spending £500+ on a custom map for a extra 10bhp thats assuming the stg2 makes 240+, Dont get me wrong im running 224 now on the k03 maxxed out if i dont make at least 235bhp ill be making a trip up to jabba. Ill be sure to get my graph and figures up as soon as its been on the rollers with stg2.

And i know its not all about numbers so lets not start that jibba jabba! :p

Cos i got the stg2 upgrade for free (only £50 if you have stg1 anyway) So what ould be the point in spending all that on a custom if the revo makes good figures, If it doesnt then go custom.

This is my point. If there was a blank ecu id know id rather spend £500 on a custom map rather than £500 on a generic map. but if its already there or your entitled to a £50 upgrade to stg2 surly its more cost effective to use stg2.

true

all down to personal preference, and i know some people will quite happily spend another £500 on a map to gain 10bhp+

but in some aspects its worth it

When i got my car i was going to go for a generic map, glad i didnt now as ive worked my way up adding mods and have nearly everything to go custom map from jabba on my k03s (mods in sig), like you are saying tho it is a waste of money if you have already paid for a generic map and can get it adjusted for £50, Would like to see the printouts as soon as you get it done tho. But after all rolling road figures are just abit of pub talk, but its always good to say it lol

I'm so glad a changed from generic to custom, its so much better imo. I must have been back 5 times for tweaks lol (including today to adjust for my fmic :)...pulling even better now!)
