Car finally back from body shop!

Hi all,

Finally got the car back I have never been so excited in my life! Car was fully valeted and shining in the sunshine. The cupra spoiler was on and bump strips colour coded. I was so impressed with the quality of the work it was really worth waiting all that time (2 months in total). Anyway here of the pics - I have some before and after ones!

the 2nd pic, showing your neighbours xmas lights (when was that taken!), thats the same spoiler as in the bottom "after" pics surely?

i'd heard the cupra spoiler was subtle, but surely its a bit more flared than that?

agree with the rear bumper comment as well, did you have that done recently coz i'd be going back not happy with that colour match!

See what you mean about that spoiler they definitely ordered the cupra spoiler as I gave them the part number! Haven't had any respraying done to the rear of the car so car has always been like that! Think it is the picture more than anything else!

I'd be cross checking part numbers as it looks exactly like the one in the first pictures!

Anyone know the official width of the cupra spoiler so I can measure it to check! Rash can you help?

Haven't had any respraying done to the rear of the car so car has always been like that! Think it is the picture more than anything else!

Its just in the 2nd and 3rd picture it looks a lot darker grey. I know the bumpers do look different colour anyway. The paint takes differently to plastic than it does to metal. Mine look totally different in the sun.

Which bodyshop did you have it done at then bud?

Place in Worle in Weston called Coronation garage. My girlfriend's uncle works there and did me an amazing deal on the side strips. Quality is excellent on them and he only charged me twenty quid!

Off topic but how much was your exhaust system got some money at the mo and its burning a hole in my pocket!

Im not too keen on the bump srtips was going 2 get that done myself, think the black breaks it up but car does look good and if u like that mate fair enough. Have to say think its more personal choice some people like em some dont. Also are those the FR rear lights as they look very grey, always thought they where black.

No they are clear cupra lights. Guiness I have double checked part numbers and apparently I now have a cupra spoiler what is the width of your spoiler from the aerial midpoint?

You may be better looking at the height of the spoiler as the Cupra one turns up more towards the sky.

al check late on mate for you when a get the garage keys 2 get the tape measure u want it from the base of the aeiral or from where the boot line is?

Boot line please Guiness! Got the spoiler done when in repair at body shop so not sure how easy! I am still waiting for some more clips for the spoiler so it has been professionaly bodged for now. Apparently there has a big problem at the manufacturers and all the left hand clips are coming in right hand clip bags. This may explain why it does not point upward yet!

The FR and Cupra rear lights are exactly the same
