I think the black 'S' works well, and small plate, not sure about the mirrors tho' IMO body colour looks better, or perhaps proper carbon covers (or is that perhasp a bit too chavy)

Has anyone thought fitting the new mirrors off the VW's with the indicator repeaters in?

Shouldn't be too tricky. The fitting looks the same.

Not looked at them but if the fitting is the same, then why not? :)

Carbon would be a bit tacky, especially since there is no other carbon on the car.

Out of interest... a question for those who don't like the black mirrors... do you like the same affect on the Mk2 Cupra, which comes like this from the factory? Or is it black mirrors in general?

I have the small number plate also and even just that makes a big difference to the look of the car.
Not too sure about the black 'S' but I think it would tie up with the mirrors if you had black alloys also;)

The alloys will be getting a refub at some point in the future, but not just yet. And they will be going darker too, but probably a darker shade of grey rather than black.

It's a shame that the tint laws are so strict as I think a sensible tint on the front side windows would make the mirrors blend in much more

Not too sure of the shade value but you can still get front window tints

No you can't. The windows as standard are tinted and there is no tint available that does not put them over the legal minimum of VLT. So any tint to the front side windows is illegal.

Even cars that aren't tinted don't let 100% of light through, so pretty much any car you see on the road cannot be tinted any more.

There was a big thread on it a few days ago if you want a read through :)
