Car Crash - Help Needed?

Nightmare, just been crashed into by some saxo chav boy [:@]:censored:
I have never had a crash so not 100% sure what to do!

The young chav in a saxo admitted that it was his fault and l got him to write it down along with his deatils. He then tells me he has no MOT [:@]

I took loads of pictures of the damage on both cars and made sure l got his number plate.

The guy has said that he will pay for the damage but the car needs at least a rear wing stitched in, new rear bumper, rear light cluster and god knows what else.....

Not sure what to do, he said get a few quotes and let him know and he will pay for it.

!) Where do l stand if he has no MOT?
2) Im full comp, does that cover my damage if l cant claim against him?
3) Anyone know any good body repair places in or around Basingstoke?

Gutted only had the car a few weeks and just ordered DV, new mats, filter.....and wanted it re-mapped by Jabba next month

Well im off to go and see if l can bend the bumper and wing off the wheel....what FUN...

Any help would be good.

Thanks
Mike

do it on insurance. far more come back than if he says he's paying cash

admitting 'fault' could put the claim in jeopardy though.... if he can't afford an MOT, why can he afford £x000's to fix your car.

call your insurance co, give them all the details now.

His MOT only ran out Monday, he said he had it in for the new one yesterday but it failed on something silly, cant remember what now!

Ah, so he had an accident in a car with no MOT. He's invalidated his insurance on that part, but you may still be able to claim off him.

Get onto your insurance company now and get his insurance details. If you're with a decent company, it'll get sorted without affecting your no claims.

claim for whiplash , get down the hospital and say your neck is hurting

This kind of thing really does :censored: me off, the person i rear ended, she was fine when i spoke to her, next thing i know shes claiming for *ucking whiplash. People are too eager nowadays to jump straight on the whiplash claim bandwagon.
