OMG today I decided to have my 40.000 mile service a little early (38.500) as shes got a loss of power and was running a little lumpy and I had found a fault to do with camshaft bank 1 adjustment. I told them about all this on the phone whilst booking her in "no problem sir we'll look at it" I got a call to say tyres were low, ooopppppsss! I said then has the fault been checked " yes doing it now". I get there this evening and get told no fault cars fine, you what I know theres a fault on there has it been checked, "yes you want to go see for yourself" so I did. He had some crappy old handheld vag com device which had seen better days, it didnt find anything. Manager said cars fine see ya! They didnt even wash it for me!

What do I do now if Seat cant fix it???

You're better off not having it washed. I reckon that's included in the extortionate service cost as labour, and they do a crap job.

some may say lala land....
i dunno, LC Charles washed mine at 40K service and did good job.
Ok, so they didn't do the easy things i asked, (fit splitter or the bonnet strip to keep crap out), but hay ho.

the stealership lark as too varied for most peoples liking

Take your car to an independent VAG specialist and see what they say. I'm sure there is one not too far from you if you ask around.

Omg yes it was blue with numbers on it i said to the bloke how olds that he laughed and said it has the latest software on it! I had an arguement over this now with their service manager Jason, and he told me never to come back to Sidlow Horley as I am no longer welcome there!
