midle sun visor can be bought from the dealers for about £4 or go to a scrappy and get a golf one as a lot of golf's seem to have them

one screw through the headlining into the threaded hole and job is done

could some one answer me the question everyone asks when they get in my 56 plate 1.9 tdi sport mk4, what is the vent looking thing above the interior light at the front of the car on the roof. I know its not a vent but it has a grid look to it. looked in manual etc anyone know what it is?

think Davels meant recirculation mode they suck the air back through the system.

Normal mode - definitely are coming out of the vents

i have 04 Fr and i have the mini sun visor i find it useful.
I hate the door handle thing as iv told my mum a hundred times to pull the handle twice to get out and she forgets, i now just hit the central locking button thing by my handle quickly when we stop so she can get out normally!

Ive got the little sun visor in my 55 plate FR.

The door handle does my head in. I wonder how long it will be before somebody pulls the bloody thing right off

i just noticed this week after having the car for a year the little compartment/cubbyhole/miniglovebox just under the light switches by my right knee!
i had glanced at it before but my old 206 had the fuse box in there and i thought it was the same.


oh and one other thing..i have manual windows in the back but i have an electric window button that does sod all on the left passenger side!

If oyu have climate control thats where the sensor for in car temp is.

thought that the climate control sensor was behind the small vent directly under the climate control display
