Bluetooth problem

Hello, I am a new member just having picked up my car and I have an issue I hope you can help with. My phone (Sony Ericsson K800i) will connect to the car but keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting randomly. I have tried the Power Save set to off and on and it still happens. Also, I have removed some of my contacts out of my phone's address book but the car's phonebook has not updated. I have also tried a Motorola V3 and Nokia 6230i and the same happens. I hope you guys can help or suggest something. Thanks in advance.

I've got a company mobile which is the Nokia 6310i this works fine, but I did have the same problem with my private mobile SE K800i as yourself, this was cured by updating the phone to the lastest firmware last week, you may want to try this on the phones you want the car to connect with.

Is this all the time or stationary? I have a V3 and works fine with the car the address book in the car display does take a little while to load. I find that if iam stationary and the ignition off after a brief time it connects/disconnects then, I thought it was normal?????

Thanks for your input. I have tried to update my phone's firmware, currently R1CB001, using the SE updater but I can't get my computer to connect with my phone properly to update it. Should I try an O2 shop where I bought the phone for them to update it?
In responce to 'mode', all the phones I have tried, V3, 6230i and K800i disconnect and reconnect almost randomly whilst stationary and whilst moving. The phones reconnect again automatically after around 10-15 seconds.

Hi, just a quick one to say that I updated the firmware on my K800i and all is now well. It connects as it should and stays connected. Thanks for your advice.
