Am I right in assuming it runs along the driver side of the car under the door trim etc?
anyone any pointers for me before I go tearing everything out?
Thanks,
:)

Andy.. that would have been a darn sight easier to remove it.. bloody thng was cable tied over the back over the dash binnacle :(....
if it was the other side, i could have run my amp leads in whilst removing the changer lead;)
but thats another job for another day :)

did all mk2 ibiza get a changer lead as standard then?

I have my own changer and lead plugged in thats all.

I think some of the 1.4's could possibly have them. I know on my standard tape headunit it had a white logo on the front saying you could add a cd changer to it. will have to have a look and see if theres a cable. Altho it wudnt matter as i now have an aftermarket headunit, so ill have to get a cd changer suitable to the headunit!?

John, if your one is too much ballache to get out, I have one at my mums house that you can have.

It came out of my Cordoba, was easy to get the cable out when the car was half stripped out :)
