Right I got the car back from Jabba with 323bhp but it had issues, after fixing everything, giving the car a service, fitting the correct air filter and running a new MAF I got 343bhp at Awesome GTI (which usually reads the same, if not a tad lower than Jabba).

I have never had the Forge with IHI, I was getting high enough temps with a K03, however what I've said in the past to Pete is don't just go get the Jabba FMIC because you think it'll be ten times better, compare a few things first... I have yet to get Jabba FMIC logs.

I had a few issues with Jabba regarding my car and some of their work, but I resolved the problems and they resolved my problem with them by supplying the correct filter £FOC. My car never was right when it left Jabba and I personally feel the readings their may have been a little down, I still want to take the car back for mapping later on to see if it can pull a little bit harder.

Also remember both mine and Pete's have a years warranty on parts and work, so untill thats out the way Jabba may map conservativly.

i spoke to jabba about half an hour ago.. nick wasnt there who i delt with but asked them wat the process is.
1. do they safety map it a little bit
2. could it have been mapped a bit harder etc

they said they will call me back, im also waiting on a filter comin off them as they sed the one on now had a slight tear in the rubber or something.. which i havent recieved yet.. so il wait on their reply and see what they say and let you know as and when i do.. would be interesting to see some logs from ur jabba cooler craig as my intake temps do get rather high

Right i have made a decsion, iam sticking with the original plan of the GT2871R. From what i keep reading its a good unit, very responsive etc. I can accept a bit of lag.

For those of you who haven't read the whole thread i have the following parts coming for the Mega Beast.

Personally i'd look at running water/meth injection before changing the whole FMIC. You can get Snow Performances WMI stage 2 kit delivered for about 225-250 quid which will get the temps down loads.

I already run Aquamist 1S system with race pump, with 15% methanol mix. :)

HI Matt

just curious to know why you chose a Jetex system? had one on my old ibiza, and it was very good, but I dont hear of jetex very much on the ibizas anymore
