Sunglasses Holder

Hi,

I heard somewhere that a Mk4 Golf sunglasses holder which fits a Mk1 Leon prefectly, will also fit a Mk 2 Leon.... can anyone confirm this ?
Also if it can be done, does anyone have photos of it done ?

Well it might fit, but it won't be above your head like on the mk1's as there are no grab handles on the drivers side of the mk2

I haven't got one of these either
Thats why I wasn't sure that I could fit the sunglasses holder !
Oh well, I'll just have to use the arm rest so store them...

I know the sunglasses holder as fitted one before.......did think about for my FR but no grab handle on the drivers side to replace..........

Nope they don't even fit drivers grabs handles to Cupra's either. A slight dissapointing oversight.

i bet its more of a cost saving than an oversight. are there not blanks that can be removed so you can retro-fit one yourself (should you wish)?

I'm not sure but if you look at the Leon there are some things still for left hand drive. For example, look at the passanger door you will find the alarm LED, should be on the driver's door!

So, the outer shell could be the same so the grab handle may only be on the one side......possibly?
