i've got a quick question about the door speakers on my LCR. i know that they're 16.5cm at the front (don't know about the rears) but here is my query........ i've got two ten inch rockford fosgate DVC subs with a matching amp in the boot and a half-decent sony head unit up front but my problem is with the door speakers. if i have the stereo turned up at all they distort with the bass or make the doorcards vibrate like mad, i've read somewhere that you can get some sort of capacitor/resistor type thing that can removed the low frequencies to make the speakers more midrange/mid-bass, is this true? if not, can i just get hold of some 16.5cm midrange/mid-bass replacements and still use the original tweeters? as the bass in the boot takes care of all the low end stuff i'd like all the rest of the sound to be a bit better than it is at the moment.
