LCR Brake discs - Anyone tried these?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to find out if anyone has tried these brake discs before? See ebay link below.

I have read all about EBC, Tarox and Brembo by searching exhaustively and they all seem not too bad.

I like the look on these discs and they seem pretty well priced.

Was surfing the net as you do and I came across a Seat Leon Cupra R brake conversion kit. Sounded interesting so had a wee look

Has anyone had this upgrade on their car?

Just wanted to gather as much info as possible as I am really looking into upgrading the brakes on my car.
The standard set up on the Cupra R is ok, but when booting it, it can be a little scary when braking hard As I found out on the weekend.

The EBC Turbo grooved ones are cheaper from Bill (aka Badger5/ibizacupra)

I've got the EBC Grooved/Dimpled ones and they work a treat got them fron Bill @ badger 5 too! Front and Rear but i teamed them up with crappy OMP pads and they work a treat!

Ive not heard many people say bad things about the standard Brembo set up on a LCR ! you sure yours is ok, !

I wanted a bit of an upgrade over the OEM set up and went

Std or Grooved disks
Upgrade the fluid to Motul or Similar
Upgrade the pads to ferrodo DS2500

Superior feel, bite and less fade

Two-piece discs would be lovely! They do look very nice and the added performance in braking would always be welcomed.

I'm very happy with my stock disc with Ferodo DS pads setup though! Far better than the standard setup, and cheaper too

in 330mm size on non AP rotors they are currently £499+vat
If with AP rotors they jump to £560+vat

includes bolt kits

I run the 330mm as shown drilled for 4x100 on my race car on non-AP rotors currently.

I have consummed AP's and these other make rotors - nothings perfect in my experience.

2-piece advantage is one of weight and cooling. I would'nt expect any improvement in stopping per-say if using same type caliper and pads.

With improved cooling you shoudl get good life without warpage, but rotors can also warp same as anything metal you heat and cool and heat and cool etc.

I thought people had noticed an improvement in stopping power with these due to the way they stay cooler... or at least, don't get as hot so quickly?
