Got a pair of Brembos for 140£ of an friend.
Thinking of purchasing Golf V Gti discs to fit them on.
Is it going to fit on an Mk2 Stylance?

don't know, you'd have to measure it all up

I don't think the golf discs are big enough though?

dont think it would fit,

The gold GTI V discs are the same as the TFSI Sport/FR/Octaiva VRs Mk2/A3 TFSI. They are 312 x 25mm.
The Cupra R brembos are 323mm.
The mounts would be alot different as well I would of thought.

More importantly ... (I think Dan was illuding to this)

LCR discs are 28mm thick

Before you go any further you need to check if the hubs on the stylance will take bolt-on carriers (some have them built-in)

If so, you'll be looking to find 28mm thick discs in a 5x112mm PCD and packing out or machining away the carriers to fit

Post some piccies up as you go, cos I'm sure there are plenty of people interested that may be able to help out along the way

Your better off just getting the 312mm or 345mm setup for the higher spec cars as it would be a straight fit. the 345mm are from the new S3, Cupra and R32. Some people have said these are better than the Cupra R 4 pot's.

I think there are better brakes out there than the Brembo's from the CupraR, the disk thickness as mentioned above is important, the LCR runs with 28mm thick discs and very skinny pads as well just to compound the issue.

Sure I now theres better brakes out there.
I could go with 8 piston Tarox, but now i´ve got a par of Brembos.
