fabia vrs to FR TDI

Hi new to the fourm; i currently have a fabia vrs which i am really happy with, it goes back in a bit and i am looking at changing to the leon fr tdi - is the ride much harder or similar?

I think its quite subjective really. You need to go out and try one for yourself
alot of people do say its on the firmer side.

Hi, I have a remapped vrs with Eibach springs on it and my sister has a FR TDI..I have driven both and the Leon is by far a more comfortable ride. When my fabia was standard the ride was very wobbly and didnt have much confidence in corners..I have had many spirited drives in both cars and the Leon handles better , rides better and is pretty much just as fast my remapped vrs.

The same move as myself, really does seem like the next car up the ladder if you want a diesel sport hatch. I found the Fabia to be slightly lacking when it came to higher speed corners, front end really likes to bob and bounce around. I'm still waiting for my Leon FR but i did have one on loan for a week. Found it to be a much more settled car through the corners. Although the trade of is slightly harsher ride.
In a straight line i don't think there is too much in it, with both cars being standard.
Really can't wait for mine 2 weeks to wait!! Have you ordered yet?

hi all - thanks for replies had a test drive; was a lot of fun but maybe a touch too hard for me. it will probably be the Stylance instead; getting older by the day!

i've changed from (my 4th) fabia vrs to a leon sport in the last few months --- ride seems much better, and much higher spec in car (dual zone climate control, folding mirrors etc) made it a pretty easy choice in the end

definitely recommend a test drive of the Leon Sport - it's the 140bhp Diesel, - doesn't seem quite as fast as the fabia vrs but mustn't grumble
