Hi guys,

Was wondering if anyone would give me an independant value for my Leon Cupra, spoke to a few dealers about a px but i think they are having a laugh, its a 52 facelift Cupra, tried the autotrader and glasses guide for values, but they seem to vary a little, anyone interested and ill post the full spec

my 04 cupra was valued at 6400 trade in mate, its worth easily over 8, yours will obviously be lower as its older but itll still hurt trading in unless you can private sell.

Selling it after only 3 months? Not happy?

I traded my standard LC (which was on an 02 plate, pre-facelift) with 44,000 miles on for £6200 at a SEAT dealer.

As a private buyer that would tell me something is wrong

The mileage is too low suggesting that with a regular changing of owners that the car has had some issues (crash repair/major mechanical fault etc)

However, many private buyers are too stupid to buy a car by actualy thinking about it, and will buy it on mileage only

just north of 6k is still the right price though, it's an old model, which by modern standards is lacking - but for 6k, it'll be a good sale.

Well id not be happy with 6k for what ive seen them sell for

Can see what you mean, my main reason for selling is wanting a bit more cash to myself and to clear some debts (changing to a 172/106GTi), the car itself is cracking, would love to keep.... 1 owner previous to me
