Hi All,
Any ideas about this one? My rear windows only operate from the front drivers door. I noticed that the offside rear window button felt a little flaccid. On pressing it, the small 'door' icon on the button pushed through into the switch. In effect I now have a switch on that side with a door shaped hole. I noticed also that the rear windows (both sides) won't operate from the rear buttons, only from the drivers door
I'm thinking blown fuse, but is this a common problem? I have heard of funny things happening to Toledo/Leon electric windows.
Anyway, she's due for a major service soon (my 'service' icon flashes for about ten seconds after start up). I've been quoted £270 from SEAT, or £200 from a reputable independant. I'd rather take it to SEAT, but is that roughly a ball park figure for a 40,000 mile service?
The reason I ask is that it's only done a genuine 33,000 miles from new, but the last time it had a service was about a year or so before I got it (apart from a very minor one that the dealer did before purchase, which I don't think they've reset the 'service' flag). I'd rather get a proper one done for peace of mind.
TIA,
Mark
