Congrats mate! you'll love it :D

Cheers bud, can't get enough of it! For some reason, all the clios/saxos/corsa's/punto 1.2 16v's wanna race me, great fun cooly smoking them from the lights leaving them whats under the bonnet!!! Never seen another FR20vt on the roads in Manchester- and neither have them judging the reaction at the next set of lights haha

Dammit! Now i'm jealous!! Glad you finally got yours Chris but mine is still not showing itself! Got a call from the guy on friday saying it would be next thursday to pick up or they could deliver it for me the following tuesday as they are short of staff to do it. But he did say if I waited until the tuesday it would have a bit longer on the tax. I wish i'd gone to the same bloody garage as you now! It's a long way but at least I wouldn't have waited 10 1/2 weeks! I'm currently borrowing my parents Suzuki Swift. Just not the same really is it?

Hi jon. Where in Leicester are ya? And I guess youre getting the FR from Francis? I bought mine from a dealer in Grimsby as they offered me the best deal.

And Chris... looking sweet there, I think I wanna test a petrol FR out. Next is a TDi cupra... poss in the next 6 months ;)

Thank f***! It's finally on the way! I officially pick it up on Thursday! I went in today to pay of the rest that I owe and give them my insurance certificate to get it taxed. It has just got there today apparently?!? Yeah, my arse. Anyhoo, I had a sit in my new little girl and started her up! Sounds niiiice! It's gotta be valeted etc first and have the stickers and writing on the windscreen cleaned off but i'm finally getting it. One thing guys, the brake discs looked like they had a bit of rust on them. The guy reckons this is normal??? That they get like that when they are not being used on the new cars? What do you reckon?

Baz:- I'm just outside Leicester on the way to Melton. And yeah, it is from Francis. Kinda thinking I should have gone elsewhere now, but it's almost mine now so what the hell.

yup, rusty rear disks are very common even after a wash n wax or just driving in the rain

you will need to give the handbrake a bit of a bash to keep them from rusting up

the rear disks on the ibiza don't do much as the rear of the car is very light

Nice one jon, remember to take a few picci's when you get it, for the minutes your'e not driving it :) my dealer was great. Even gave me the keys to go sit in the car and have a look around whilst he did all the paperwork. The discs always get a lining of rust when not in use, as essentially, its bare metal.

and remember to hide the black magic paintwork when it rains
