Spent the day making up one front wing for my rallycar took a while to do with welding and cutting plates plus grinding, filling and sanding and priming, still got the other three corners to do and looking forward to doing rear wings:) the car has already been repainted before in mazda yellow and lotus azure blue but going to put it all in white apart from the roof

pictures are before and after, what do you think????

David.

They are there and working o.k.

It's cost me nothing to make them just 8 hours to do one.
Was thinking about getting them copied in fiberglass is anyones interested in having some although they will be in just fiberglass and will need gel coating, trimming and painting..

one thing I would question is the actual width increase is shallow in height, for depth of wheel sitting up in the arch itself... ie when its low the tyre still has to work within the narrow top section, with the wider low part not accomodating the wheel fully.
Thats why mines up the arch as well. I started like yours are, but it would'nt accomodate the wheel fully on max drop I run. It got more complicated shape wise then to blend up into the curved top section tho. :(

+70mm per side on mine for ref.

yer the height i wasnt too worried about because unfortunately i wont be able to lower mine at all due to everchanging surface levels if anything i might be raising it up all my measurements for clearance wise have come off other rally cars ie mk2 escorts, so for me i should hopefully be o.k. fingers crossed
