Dunno yet. Waitin for the funds to arrive which hopefully shouldnt be long.
A local VW tuning company doing it for me so will leave it with them.
Is there much difference between the 2.8 and the 2.9????
Apart from the obvious capacity

I'll warn you now it wont be cheap. Chances are they will want about £5k + for that conversion. But think about this:
For under a grand you can get yourself a cherry picker, and a big enough set of tools that will ever need for the conversion. And you still have £4k to play with. So another grand for a rear ended corrado to use as a donor car, meaning you can spend £3k on upgrading the engine, so maybe you can actually afford a turbo one. Not to mention you can still get some money for selling your old engine/gearbox [B)]

i thought about doing this to mine. My brother currently has a corrado vr6, has had 2 mk 3 golf vr6 and a mk2 golf vr6 so had a few discussions about putting one in my car. Dont think it would suit the Ibiza because of the weight but then again we may be wrong. Great engines though, but will not be cheap if a garage is doing it.
