If that were my car (God forbid) I'd break it and sell it in bits. 20vT lump would fetch some cash, as would the wheels, brakes, suspension, bumpers, interior, nitrous...
I recon who ever buys this could potentially fetch a bargain. If I were to buy this, I'd sell on the wheels, and the air suspension, and the rear bumper (if anyone would ever want to buy it), and I recon that would get me about a grand. So you would be left with a tuned 1.8T mk2 Ibiza with a garreth turbo pushing 270BHP, with racing bucket seats and 4 pot Brembo brakes. All for £3K. Now thats a bargain if I ever saw one.
EDIT: also noticed its got an LSD, and a FMIC and comes with a second set of alloys and coilovers. Hmmmmmmm, if only I had spare 3K
doesnt cost much to change the rear lights surely - same as any other mk2 ibiza
its tempting to just buy it to restore it to what it should look like - tho tbh i would have to wear a paper bag on my head and keep it in the garage til it was finished lol
That was exactly what I was thinking . I'd have to wear a paper bag over my head while driving it home. and then probably pull up to the nearest service station and swap the wheels over to the 17" TSW's he is supplying with them.
was looking at it the other day, i hate the alloys, i think they look like somthing 50 cent would wear in his ears! doesnt suit it at all imo. but id like to see how quick it is, would need to get rid of the rear lights, bumper and spoiler as well, then it would look quality, i think the front end looks pretty tidy, the engine looks mint! 4k?? seems to cheap? px for a Rangerover?? bit of a differnce!
saw this day it went on, engine bay looks fantastic, engine swap was innovative, but it looks like i 17 year old chavva boy's had the outside of it for a week and played with tin foil and the halfords catolouge all over :| shame, could still be a minter
