is there any point of going for expensive coilovers?
im looking to get some coilovers ...i know i shouldnt get the cheap ones but is there really much difference?

im just looking for a nice stance and drivability, its not a track car, just everyday use, im looking for a 60/40 drop or even a 40/40 or 60/60 but i dont want a hard ride as its really hard right now and my interiors rattling lol. ive got 15" with 195/50/15 or 45 i think not sure ill check ina bit. jus really want comfort and a nice look.

a lad i know just had a Tein ( i think ) strut collaspe on him after 6 months... but in the first post you say.. not for track day just for day 2 day and looks why not go for struts and springs and if you want to be really cheap and dont mind about your dampers go 40mm on just springs?

thought about that, but i dunno, im under the impression coilovers are a more comfortable ride? how easy are they to fit on compared to normal suspension? my friends fitted his own on a polo and errm had trouble on the front, ibizas prob got the same configuration right? but said its manageable, i dunno i dont wanna pay £100 for fitting when they only cost like £200.

once u touch the sturt its going to need camber aligenment and then tracking done, as the camber adjustment is on the strut.. i did it my self in a few hours then set the camber and track by eye :) lol

MK4 polo and ibiza 6K coilovers are exactly the same i think.
Ive had both and they look exactly the same.

How you finding the ride with the EVO coilovers chris

In comparions of my FK Coilovers to my Bilstein Streetline uprated shocks and springs. Coilovers are nicer to ride with!

With coilover overs set to really low your not gonna get a hard ride but a bouncy one.

I think we need to get everyone to a national meet and give people chance to try other peoples ride set ups around an empty car park or something. Would give people such a better insight!
