Sorry go kinda-OT... but yeh, I'd also be interested in a price. I agree... Silver car.. carbon bonnet would look superb.

I know a few fellas on here are running around with them. They look supreme.

ROBM has one on his yellow LCR, looks very smart, my leon's black so no real point in getting one but agree with most that it would look sweet on a silver car.

But what is the advantages is it just a lot of less weight on the front end. Cause im guessing the standard bonnet isnt that light lol. would help with understeer.

mate of mine had a Merc A-class with the sticky film on the doors round the B-pillar
one started to lift so the dealer said he would do it under warranty mate was chuffed
5 months further on mate is getting rid of the car and the dealer still can't get these things on right (tried with 4 sets up to date) so my mate tells him not to bother, pulls the three remaining ones off and sells it as is
The trick seems to be spray the surface with water, peel off the backing then slide the sticky stuff on, smooth it off with a sponge then let it dry out fully

will probably still look cack but at least you won't have any bubbles under it

Mines black and ive got one!?! Its fibre glass with a couple of thin layers of carbon fibre on top- this is the common cheaper way of the carbon fibre look!

Theoretically it would both reduce sprung mass and lower the centre of gravity.

In real terms, it would make no difference at all for a road car. You'd get better results through sticker tyres and suspension improvements.
