rs2000's and mexico's are already considered classic's, Ford boys go nuts for them.
And thats the point, if you like the
badge, youll love the car. If SEAT bring out a couple more very fast cars and raise even more brand awareness in the future then more people will look at the LCR as the good old starting point.
The point shouldnt be about wether or not it will achieve classic status, but surely wether people 'in the know' remember it fondly for just what it is, An underated , powerful , great looking bargain.
I can think of a couple of other marques whichhave cars falling into that category, Alfa being one for sure.
Dont fret on classic status, revel in the knowledge that you know something all the others dont, and they may just come around to our way of thinking anyway.
