Finally had a day to give the car some TLC (1 and a bit weeks in of ownership). 6.5 hours work doing the works with my new cleaning goodies :)

Washed: superspray / wash shmitt
Clayed: Sonus ultrafine detailing clay
Polished: Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Wheels: MC2'd and supersprayed
Sealant: Chemical Guy's Jetseal x2 coats including wheels
Interior: Hoovered and treated to Chemical Guy's fabric protector

Very pleased with the results. Just don't want it to get dirty now.

Nice one Scoot. silver is definitely the best choice

For a car that doesn't photo very well, they're nice pics, 1 and 3 particularly.

Yes Carl cant wait to see Rich's in White if he ever gets it:p

With company car scheme and pumping all my cash into a bigger house a Cupra will have to wait, it would be the wife's (my fun car) :cartman: to replace her Zetec S fezzer.........

The black mirrors look good on Silver as they should on Candy White[B)]

Cheers guys. Rob just about to hit the 500 mile mark.

Forgot to say part of the 6.5 hours was fitting the mudflaps. A bit fiddly without taking the wheels off, but will hopefully offer a bit more protection. There was quite a lot of brake dust up the side of the car before I cleaned it.

Now the backache has started to kick in :help:

hi scott,
bit risky taking that much time cleaning it knowing british bank holiday weather. anyway, while it lasts its looking great.

any chance you could post a couple of pics post mudflap fit? (i dont mind if its dirty by the time you take them!)

Nice pics mate  I've just spent what feels like 18hours of the weekend doing mine, top to bottom inside and out. Im ruined

Still needs waxing though  But got the the paint polished up a treat.

I hate our council though, they plant feckin anti social trees that deposit their seeds all over the estate and all over my car, after i've spent all day on it. :ban:

Cool. Get some more pics up soon mate. :)

Mine needs another coat of jetseal soon. Need to write off a day to give it the works again.

Had quite alot of tar spots to remove yesterday. And found another big stone chip :(

Cheers,

Scott
