Not taking the canvas mansion this time using the 2-man throw up less guide ropes to fall over trying to follow Phil back from the club. :drunk:

Looks like our little camp is going to be somewhat bigger this year, the more the merrier and yes we have taken Monday off, :bleh: we have learned from previous years.

Craig don’t worry the abuse WILL come.

Mart are you brining the Le Mans Genny? we can give it a test run.

Are you camping Sunday night ? ( Did you get my text about the flag pole ?)

Phil copy of PM sent to Lee

Not this one afraid Lee work commitments, have to commission a machine we have built before Tuesday.

It’s for the States and we have a bunch of yanks over so must complete.

WE don’t miss many but some times cant be avoided.

See you at Croft have a good one at Thruxton.

Keith

Yes I think we will stay over Sunday night

I'm there

I will bring all the usual car full of stuff, which should be more than enough to cater for us all. BBq, coals, big feck off cooker thingy. Think I might try some more advanced cooking as practice for Le Mans. Just hope I stay sober for long enough :drunk:

Will bring the generator along too. Have we managed to sort any lighting yet?

I'm liking the idea about staying Sunday night, I should be up for that (work permitting)

It looks like this year we will have even more coming :funk: Do you think we would be better off down the other end of the football pitch so we can spread out and the other campers wont be disturbed by Craig's snoring.

Luckily this year you wont have to put up with my drunken angry phone calls in the middle of the night.

Really looking forward to this.

Phil, are you going to let the geeza at the club know all the numbers that are going nearer the time, rather than us all phoning individually?

moan moan moan - I happen to like my potato's cremated!

I think a list should be formed, by somebody responsible (that rules single guy out) so we can all see whats being taken.

So here goes:

Craig: 2 x Red and White (boxed) wine, 24 cans of beer (not Carlsberg cos single guy doesnt like it) and Cassis for spinning games

Mart: Everything especially chilli and potato's

Phil: A girlfrie... oh no not one of them - General snacks and quality meat from the abertoire + black pudding

Keith: Chris + food and drink of some sort including Port and cheese

Lee: Young son and beer

Please feel free to chip in

Apologies for the other non-responsible person starting this, who's bringing the ****? < - thats meant to say Pron!

Craig

Yes 24

I figured with everyone else bringing beer we certainly will have enough, remember the wasteage last year!!!

Plus its only for the day time, until the pub opens then a couple of hours afterwards - remember last year again!!!

We were all pretty w.a.n.k.e.r.e.d last year - before the pub opened as I recall.

I remember that I was the pool champion from last year though, or did I dream it. Anyway sounds like a challenge :p

I know this is just for the campers but I will be at Croft too. If I have booked in time.

I live local. Enough so that even at a moderate speed in my dads 4x4 I can get to the track in about 1hr 15-20mins. And can I just say to one and all camping first of all, their is on the Croft website a list of places to camp which I have put on. But also I would like to say if it is anywhere near as hot as it was in 06' (but without the bane of every SEAT fan wearing a SEAT Tee - our little black friends the Thunderbugs!) it will be the best meeting ever and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I will.

Just save me a burger those with BBQ's!

Just added the number of tents that people will be taking, as the cost is per tent and not per person.

Any more takers

Well it'll be one for me and Jo.

Man I remember those bugs - I won't be wearing yellow this year.
Think I'll go for a nice schiffron dress with a wrap around to keep the sun off my shoulders. Perhaps a hat, nothing to glam.

And lads, leave your heels at home, this is flat shoe country and I'm wearing open toe sandals this time. No way is Phillis getting one over on me again.

I am unsure as to where you mean. The campsite or the circuit?

Because I can certainly see you at the circuit because I can tell you where I will try to push and cajole my old dad and me to stand (well, what is my dad for?!:) ). And I would ideally like to stand at the top of the Clearvaux bank at the corner which overlooks the start/finish straight. I am sure it has a fence that you can lean against to take pressure of your feet. That is why I would like us to get those fold-away canvas seats that you campers have.

So you can spot me I will of course come in my colours - my tee and either a sun hat or baseball cap, and I have a rather embarassing goatee that ain't styled well.

See you there!
