They've just ruined a set of AP disks on my CSL, melting and leaving deposits everywhere.
Pagid RS29s are the way to go...
They worked fine on a track day for me on an LCR (with upgraded brake fluid) and OEM Brembo disks
I guess a BMW CSL is a different beast though

Not a case of Ds2500's being bad, but your spec requires DS3000 type material or PF01 etc, but your disks will WEAR RAPIDLY

something has to give & wear. Its disk or pad, or basic driver abuse.
when you run disks this hot (see below) and are totally unaware from inside the car they're working that hard, they cant be too bad. Motul RBf600, ATE disks, DS2500 pads.. nuff said.
They're a very soft pad, and don't cope well with heat, which is why they melt.
