Was at Crail on Sunday to do some 1/4 mile times, it wasnt the best of weather up there but air was cold. Couldnt manage anythin quicker that a 15.3!
Really annoyed with that! Was doing 15.062 in my remaped 130 gttdi golf with rubbish tyres and 15's!

any one else got times?

List your mods to please!

I think it was you i talked to at crail on sunday.

We talked about your EBC breaks.

I managed a 15.3 in my stock LCR 225 about a month back.

The biggest problem with the Leons over 1/4 mile is simply the weight of them. Its a heavy car to get off the line & the most important part of getting a good 1/4 mile time is the start - this can make such a difference to your time.

Did a 14.6 at pod with around 4k on the clock, car was 3 months old with no mods, had a knackered MAF though

IIRC it was June 2004

bout 4k just on mid boost, handbreak up on the bite an tried both flooring it and letting the clutch up nice, seemed the flooring it and letting the wheels spin a tiny bit to keep boost up and to stop being bogged down!

Hi

My fastest time down the POD was 14.104 at 105.58mph with a T34 turbo and the revo stage one at 1.4bar of boost.

The car had a lot off engine management faults, problems and a lot off turbo LAG due to the ECU not coping, when this pod run was completed.

My leon cupra is now off the road and it is having a fully mapable ecu and engine work undertaken and i am now hoping for around 450bhp ish at 2 bar of boost.

See you at the pod soon.
