ooh, and you can find the part number on a sticker on the driver's side of the radiator. You should be able to see it with the radiator still installed.

the part number from my car was 6K0 121 253 AC
it's a non-aircon 8v and the radiator hosing is on the same side as the battery.

the p/no that ECP use is 203442040, to replace VAG 6K0121253AC.

Total (inc vat): 38.08

Worth noting the OEM is Valeo, while this one is Nissens. Seemed to be of just as good quality as the Valeo item that came out of the car though.

oops my mistake must have missed exeter.

ive had a look at my rad and the pipes are on the passenger side of the rad and so is the electical sensor.
mine must be diff to urs?
