Hi

My car is going in for a service soon so rather than pay them £30 to stick in shite oil i wanted to get something like Fully Synth Castrol Edge,

Problem is motor world wants £45 for a 5 litre can.
Any ideas where I can source some with a better price?

Cheers
Mark

will 4 litres be enough to fill the car in a service?

I emailed opieOils and they said the best are.....

------
Ester based oil such as the Silkolene Pro S or the Motul 300v. I would look at a 5w-40 grade changed every 10k.
----

Any comments on this?

Sounds about right to me. Same grade as I and others here use and the interval to change is spot on too.

It's always worth having a bit more than you need too, just so you can use the same stuff for top ups between oil changes.
