very very good thread, i was out driving last night when my traction control light came on, i thought it must be yet another maf but i plugged it in to vag-com and got about 10 codes saying short to ground, now after reading this im thinking it could be the fuel pump relay?? any help please people. and where would i get 1 ? seat? and rough price please.

were the other faults n75, n112, n249 and so on all short to ground????

i had this problem, found the earth wire going to the n112 valve was split slightly and shorting out.

its the red and yellow wire that goes into maf, it links between all the vlaves and stuff in engine bay.

you could have a split in the plastic casing on it anywhere. cant help much more than that,

I had the same when my N112 fell off the back of the rocker onto the turbo and melted. It also blew a fuse. Check them as well.

yeah, think it was a 10amp one, about 8 in fornt the left!

same reason as me then phil
