I have 15mm on the back only, no rubbing problems and the wheel is still inside the arch. Make sure whatever you buy that they are 'hubcentric' spacers otherwise you run the risk of losing a wheel unexpectedly  I bought Eibach pro spacers from Bill (Badger 5 on the forum) with the bolts included. Cant remember exactly but the lot was about £90ish.

So, excuse my ignorance, but what makes the Eibach ones more expensive? If the bolts are only a tenner for ten, that means the spacer itself is £80... so what justifies that price?

I've finally been bothered to take a look at this thread and it's given me ideas of semi-widearch rude-boi action.. Think I'll be taking a look into getting a set of 10-14mm spacers all round. Big, big fan of the wide tracks. As mentioned earlier, it has major implications on handling.

Spacers and a good drop on springs/coils will be a nice experience.

More expensive than what, I don't understand what you are comparing them to price wise?

Sorry, I should have said 'So Expensive' and not 'More Expensive'

That's my fault, apologies.

The reason for asking the question though, was following the links posted on this thread previously takes you to places selling spacers for £40 a set, with eBay sellers having some for similar or less money. Just wondered if the Eibach ones were any different?

Complete guess, but 90 quid = 10 quid for bolts, plus 2x40quid for the spacers?

EDIT: Just read that properly, you mean you've seen them for 40 quid a set? Thats even cheaper than I thought they'd be!

Just for reference guys, these are 15mm rears on mine.

Like I said tho, please don't buy anything over 5mm without getting Hubcentric spacers. The eBay ones you've seen may not be hubcentrics, if they are then looks like a bargain. The way I look at it is... I never scrimp on tyres or brakes because these two things keep you safely on the road, spacers keep your wheels on your hubs so are just as important I feel. The ones I bought were EUV (or whatever it is lol) approved. Would your insurance company like any old spacer / shim in there if you needed to make a claim? Just my personal view on spacers.

Balf2k - That looks spot on! I thought the fronts would look out of place and tucked in by comparison, but the really don't.

Well that's buggered it then... one more thing to add to an already long shopping list

Yeh, Same here. Without a doubt. Spacers never even entered my mind.

Strange really, I've run sets on at least three other cars in the past. Two of which were out of nescessity.
