ok so.....everyone gets to where i get and then it goes SORTED!!!!!!!!

mine has not though.....just replaced the rear ABS sensor at the local friendly audi garage....have done me proud in the past.

no change to lights on dash and the vagcom says it's still shafted all though there is a speed reading from the sensor itself.

so, they've suggested there could be a problem with

1. the wiring (apparently not heard ofreally)
2. the main control unit.

so they have said, bring it in for a few days and we'll whip it off, send it away and see what they find. could be in the $100s though.

SO whatta ya think?

Id say price up a 2nd hand control unit before parting with the cash, if it still doesnt work after swapping it out, sell it and youre no worse off.

just as brendy says ;)

used vag-com to check which one and then started at the end and worked my way back

1st 2 were rears and the wiring had been rubbing the original bad boy exhaust the front one had come unclipped and rubbed the tyre

and yes i did fix it myself - i always do ;)

bren - some us have to work hard for a living but i just so happen to run a motor factors so most parts if really needed just get signed off ;)
