LEON CR fluttering boost problem

ok so i finally managed to get a video of my boost guage. its a little blurry but u can see what needs to be seen
it starts at -20InHg goes up to around 0PSI drops to about -10InHg then I change gear and it drops a final time.
When i changed gear it was the only time i let my foot off the accelerator not even lightly
i personally think im overboosting, like everyone else even with the opposite problem after going on briskoda

You could do with getting someone to log the car using VAG COM to see what's actually happening. Blocks 114, 115, and throw in 020 for good measure. 4th gear pull from low rpm to redline gives the best info! (unless you have space to do it in 5th or 6th which is unlikely)

HA. i wouldnt even be able to log it up to 4000rpm. the battery on my lapyop really sucks ass. it couldnt hold a piece of paper if it could, let alone hold charge
ill try and get a new battery and do a log

That looks odd, its not even boosting never mind over boosting .. 0PSI! Must be dog slow running like that.

has anyone near oxford got vag com i need a log on my car because this cutting issue is getting more obvious.
just drove a couple of miles and each time i was gently accelerating in second just going over 2000 rpm it cut right backand not much came back,
i had a bit in first and third aswell today!
i dont get how this happens on part throttle and not full throttle :confused:

Right had a call today and the cars going to be in a few more days. They think they may have sorted the issue but i will hold fire until i get the car back and can test it 100%

They said they had narrowed it down and they think they know whats up but would need the car a few more days as they have been busy (car was played with driven then had to sit for a few hours to cool down so takes some time). So fingers crossed!

mine has got stronger since i did a TB allignment with VAG-COM for some reason, im gonna get some TB cleaner and clean the TB. But i dont really know how unless someone in this thread does

I did mine with WD40, but I guess carb cleaner is best.

Enigne off, pop the throttle body hose off, put some carb cleaner on a rag, push the TB plate open with the rag around your finger and wipe away.

Do a TBA after you've connected it back up.

Probably because a TBA resets adaptation values and show's up the fault more initially as the ECU isn't compensating for the problem... whatever it is!

Got a funeral friday so ive put back getting the car till late on saturday so wont hav any real answers till monday i would have thought. Cant wait to get her back tho!
