Just had my 20k service done. I asked the tech if he could run a check on my LCR as it felt a little under powered, thought possibly the MAF was on its way out.

He showed me the print out which showed no error codes, and he said the MAF reading was 210.

I saw a figure of 210 on the print out, but I'm pretty sure the units were mBar  Was I looking at something else maybe - or is it a different reading altogether?

Should have had a proper look!

Anyway, 210 sound about right? He said it was pretty good and the MAF is ok :)

210 g/sec is considered pretty good - for a chipped motor, somewhere between 190 and 210 g/sec, depending on Stage 1, Stage 2 etc etc.

Good thing to log though, so you can have a look at the area under the curve/shape of the curve rather than the maximum figure.

Cool, so 210 is OK / good then :)

Only mods I have are a green panel filter, FMIC & silicone hoses - still running the standard map.

So, the the feeling of it being under powered... guess I've just got used to it??? Good enough reason for a remap! lol

I've also read about people being charged for diagnostics / logging... the Seat Specialist (ex. franchised dealer) I used told me dealers shouldn't charge for cars that are under warranty & should be done as part of the service.

Not sure how they did it  They don't have a rolling road, but they did take it for a test drive.

As I said, I'm pretty sure I saw 'mBar' on the print out, which is a pressure measurement, not flow...

Should have taken more notice or asked for a copy :(

So those maf figures are right for a mapped car but your saying its a standard map?

Yep, it's a standard map. It was stage 1 APR, but I had it taken removed and replaced with the APR standard "equivalent" as I had running issues...

You might know they guy who checked my car, was done at JP Board in Bridgend.

Nope 210 is not right for a standard car, 210 is a good figure for a stage 2 mapped car in winter, never mind 25c temps in April.

mbar is your answer, looks like he's logged boost. MAF readings are in g/s and you should have around 180ish standard on a good maf.
