Im confused bill, so are you saying the lambda that is failing is the one in the cat? or the one on the downpipe? I thought B1S1 was the downpipe one.

Here a clue:

B1 S1 : Is Precat (One on the down pipe before the cat)
B1 S2 : Is the Post Sensor (one on the cat)

b1s1 is 1st one is'nt it? pre cat

Now i thought APR maps, had codes to keep the Lambda's happy, or am i wrong? And am i right in assuming (after searching) that B1 S1 is pre cat on the DP??

I thought you were talking the post cat one from what you were saying. Spacing 2nd lambda etc when running decat or minimal cat to avoid emissions light. Your primary lambda is running your engine air fuel ratio. Its important and not going to be mapped out by anyone.

ah ok, cheers bill, yeah i see i got a bit lost in my description of the problem, and the solutions someone else had used to fix there problem. When it was not the same as mine. Has really annoyed me this time. It waited until i was sat in the pits at combe on saturday before it started to play up.Ruined my session. :(
At least now i know what sensor is faulty for sure and can order the correct one :)
Cheers
