whats your point ?
Just saying that most 19 year olds don't have £22k of disposable income to spend on buying and then modding a car. Most 19 year old I know don't even earn half of that a year.

Also, if the mods aren't declared then the insurance is invalid which means you're basically committing insurance fraud.

I think that most people on this forum knows about insurance and to notify them of any changes to the car or intended use, and in regards to "most 19 year olds don't have £22k of disposable income to spend on buying and then modding a car" well rash must have ! *** he done it !

I see your point, as I dont know many people my sorta age earning that sorta money. But the banks will give out 5k without even blinking now-a-days to anyone oner 18! If the car is in his mums name, then according to finance, he has no out goings, so even if say only earning 800 a month after tax (around 12k a year) £300 on car, £150 on 5K loan and £150 on insurance (declared or not declared I duno!)

At one point I was earning almost the same as I was spending each month when I was 18 and had my brand new 05 plate FR. Looking back it was pretty stupid! But hey,

Anyway... the car d000d that sound great from the video (even tho poor quality) and Mr OBD says it sound even better in person and to quote "Its f00king fast" :D You dont know how tempted I am... did a quick search for Ibiza Cupra's last night, but I want a white one :D

i have worked exstreamly hard to get this car and no1 has helped me with money! i take home about £1600 from work a month and work darn hard for it! then £500 on rent and monthly insurance then i have little bills. i dont really go out anymore as im so hooked on spending my dollar on the motor!

£600 outgoing and £1000 a month on the car ;)

SUPRISINGLY even with all that power it gets the power down well! as i said LSD is definatly going on! and a new release bearing as thats knocking!

every 19 year old has disposable income!

live at home, no mortgage, no bills, no council tax, no pets, no kids!

i remember being 19 (just  ), emptied my bank account on a friday after being paid, monday morning had enough cash for fags & fuel !

however he earns his cash, thats his business! ;)

thought we used this forum to talk cars?

anyway, out of interest and to create a topic in the pub later tonight, whats the insurance stinging you for rash?

with regard to the money Rash has spent, fair play to him, AFAIK it was all savings

I earn 40k + a year and would not consider spending that sort of money on modding a car even though I can clearly afford it

all my spare cash goes to the mortgage company so I can retire early (40 hopefully), I'm 36 now

good on ya Rash, the only problem with that sort of power at 19 is that anything below 250 BHP will seem very slow and you have a lot of driving to do in your life yet
