quite a common and classic mk2 mod so dont panic

if you go for the mesh look be prepared for a few people commenting 'nice saxo'

there is a barred badgeless grille from fk automotive that is also quite smart

I have the badgeless FK grill. Was only about £20 from eBay and does look a lot smarter than both the standard grill and meshed ones.

You can see it above. I like it anyway, although prepare for the 'Nice Polo' comments!

Defo get a badgeless grill!
I think nice black mesh looks better than the slat ones and the added bonus of costing alot less!
I stuck a little seat badge on mine and I think it looks mint!

Id say either the FK one or black mesh with the mk3 cupra badge (the one that says cupra and has the flag at the end) placed on the right hand side as you look at the car. Thats assuming that yours is a cupra?

David.

does your mate refer to everything that they don't like as chav?

De-badging the grill is not chav!

Mine isn't de-badged because I quite like the fact its a Seat!

exactly what i was thinking, don't run the risk of people thinking your car's a saxo or poo-lo, be proud its a seat!

HAha. Its been almost a year since i meshed mine and never had anyone question the make of the car......until today
At the lights a group of teens (must be 16/17 year olds) asked me what car it was? OF course i told them Seat Ibiza lol.

Yeah he does pretty much :) I don't want to hide the fact that its a seat, far from it, just like the look of some of the cars i have seen that have them.

Mine is debadged on the front.. but that's only because I bought it like that. If I were to do it myself I'd buy the FK one.. Just for continuity.

And it's not chav at all.. it's a very subtle mod that can make all the difference.
