Red, black or yellow?

I have decided to go for a black LCR when I come to buy one in August but what is the best colour in the range?

I know everyone will have different ideas but I have heard that black ones attract stonechips and are hard to polish to a shine, OVNI's fade after a while as the paint is thin and that the red ones keep their colour the best. Are these stories true or pure myths?

They're all non metallic paints so don't have the clear lacquer layer. Only silver and platinum grey will resist fade/chipping a bit compared to non metallics, but all LCRs will suffer chipping. Mine's got Armourfend on the front, so the chips start at the point the windscreen meets the roof!

Black will show chips most due to the base layer being lighter colour. It'll also need to be kept clean to avoid scratches. Red and yellow less so but it's all degrees so you pays your money and takes your choice

Platinum Grey, Black or Yellow are best imo.
I went for Yellow cos it was in the best condition that I had seen so far and the colour looks better in the flesh compared to pictures. - Really sets of the front end with the black grills.

black is the best but mine has quite a few stone chips which is annoying but never mind altho when polished looks the nuts but does not stay clean for long

Black is the most aggressive looking colour so if you want machine that looks brutishly mean there is no other option.

Red and especially yellow are for those who cut hair for a living.:banned: ;)

this might sound stupid but i think yellow ones look 'bigger and wider' than the other colours, seems to pick up the shape of the car more on the onvi's [B)]
