Backdraft dont do ihi as far as i know, they do a 350bhp GT2860 turbo kit for 1.8ts, theyre based in milton keynes and do the full kit for £3995 inc VAT, which includes downpipe/sports cat, fitting and custom map.
Dont know of anyone who has had this on an ibiza though.

IHI is from jabba, badger bill and now jbs

that would be me then!! im running IHI with forge fmic... so i spoke to forge on the phone and asked if thats the limit for their intercooler.. the reply was that their fmic was only ever designed for remapped (revo stage1) type cupra's not for those runnin big turbo conversion and that, that more than likely is its limit! so im gonna buy a bigger one anyway to see if thats the case!!! how ever as i found out on the track at donny last week 323bhp and 328lb/ft in a mk3 cupra beats alot of things!!!!!!! :)
oh and i got mine done at jabba in peterborough also got brembo's and a cambelt service aswell!!

i think ihi is about 320/330 bhp anyway, jabba's new rollers are alot more accurate than their old ones which were quoting 345bhp for ihi, all the latest peeps that have had ihi are all getting similar figures (320/330)
seen a few ihi cars now on a few set of different rollers and they were all circa 320/330bhp with different ic/chargecooler setups

id log your forge one first before i started looking around for other alternatives, you will probably find its fine for the job, or will be with the help of a little aquamist

just my 2p

i think water injection and few other bits are on the cards for the summer! with the temp being genreally alot higher think it will come in handy! i may just leave it for now add few bits and get few logs done as said above!! erm cost me just over 4k for IHI minus brakes cambelt. n also had centre section of exhaust, boost controller and stuff aswell!! you wouldnt want to know the total bill!!!!!!!

yeah if i got ihi i would also get the boost controller but stick with my laguna intercooler providing it gave me 320bhp.
What clutch you running?

If you go to Jabba and want the IHI Stage 3 Kit, Intercooler & Boost Controller with fitting and mapping budget £5.5k. Then again you'll still want the brakes, clutch, flywheel, etc...

dont agree mate. songman is running his jabba`d ihi vf34 turbo at 370bhp. he has uprated his internals to handle that power. its more a case of practical safe engine power rather than new rollers.

the vf22 which i have is maxed to 320bhp .. smaller turbo than the vf 34 slighty quicker spool i think, but i decided on that as my lc internals wont cope with anymore safely.

if you want 350 then a vf34 is the one to have ihi wise... but as long as your internals are up to it;)

320 is the safe option engine wise hence why lots have that power lvl.

wasnt the case for me. through the forge to hit 320bhp the turbo had to work at 1.6 bar.
changed to a different design and pipework and i get 320bhp for 1.2 bar.

it became a bottle neck after about 280bhp. i dont think it was the cooler itself more the pipework.

ihi dont like running high boost lvls
