where can i find these bits?

Hi,

Im trying to fix all the little bits and pieces that need doing on my ibiza N reg. I was woundering where to get them

1) The push down lock on the inside drivers side is broken ( only the metal part left) so need a new pastic screw on part

2)Don't know its real name but the plastic surround thats around the stereo, controls, tray, has a crack across one of the coners, can i replace this?

3) The airel on the car is bent and also the rubber seal where it enters the bonnet has cracked open nearly

Also the boot and glovebox dont have lights, can i add these or but in a glovebox that has one?

Also i dont know what the colour is called but my car is red and it has lots of white spots where the paint has come off, whats the best way to repair this and where would i get it?

is it the door snibs you need, ie the screw in ones? ive a pair of aluminium ones you can have for a fiver inc postage.
the centre console cover should be widely available from breakers yards had a thought though, would a dress kit cover the crack instead of replacing it?
the arial is a pain on the wing, have you thought about getting a blanking cover for that bit and getting someone to mount a roof beesting arial like the later mk2's?
the glovebox and boot could have one fitted easily enough but to be honest you will barely notice the difference.
Your red is probably tornado red, halfords do a seat/skoda colour match repair kit for around 8-10 pounds.

door snibs - if by this you mean the pastic bits that you screw down onto the lock on the inside, which you push down to lock the car then yes that would be great to have thanks.

Re: colour - is it a metallic? If it is, then it won't be Tornado Red. As for stonechips, they're a fact of life with modern water based paint finishes.

i dont think its tornado red its much brigter then that, its not matalic

By brighter, do you mean lighter/paler? Tornado Red is particularly known for fading on older cars - something to do with the pigments in the paint I gather.

On my old mk2 I noticed that VW's 'flash red' was about the closest match.. least thats what I ended up spraying the bumpers up with when I upgraded them

thanks for you help so far, ive got the paint for the car. the VW flash red matched very well. That ebay item was what i was looking for, i cant tell if its black or not?

Yes mate, heres a pic, just got them out for a pic ten mins ago!!
They are no use to me now as my cordoba is well gone and my leon doesnt use any sort of snibs. They are spot on for what you need and look well when fitted.
