Badger (Bill) has a set on trial in this thread. They're fitted to Nick Barnes' LCR. Done over 2k miles and seem to be pretty good so far :)

Another EBC related thread here. Some positive reviews here too. Seem to be well worth a try :)

i've got them on my LCR. also supplied through bill, done about 2k on them and there an improvement over the originals. running them with DS2500 pads which was all changed at the same time. Not had any issues with warping etc as per previous issues with EBC and there a lot cheaper than fitting Brembo's. Onyl thing i noticed with them is a clicking noise when driving along but this is just the pads going over the grooves / dimples so nothing to worry about.

£89+vat each cant be ignored price wise.
I'm not a fan of EBC pads, but the red stuffs work ok.
DS2500's are the superior pad, so what you save on disks you can afford to use DS2500's

AndyJ has them on his Leon too and hasn't had any problems. I shall definately be getting these badboys when it's time for a change (fairly shortly). I don't plan on tacking the car to track days, and the car only gets occasional high speed blats (I want to take care of it :) )

To be honest, if you're going to track your car and drive like a complete nutbar, you're best off going with the really top end expensive stuff. But for a standard or just a spirited driver, I can't see why these would ever pose any problem, so they present an excellent option for LCR owners.

Let's just hope that they don't end up like this guy's after 10k miles - yikes!!!

http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=146655

and I can show you AP's which did the very same to me (twice)

Track use is not a fair comparison at all.
ZERO warranty when you take em on track and for good reason.

NO disk is Track Proof.
Race cars do not use same disks throughout a season, so why do people expect their road cars to when they take em on raod and track for 10K miles...

Reality check people..
thats how it is

I have to be honest... a few months ago I would have laughed at the idea of putting anything EBC on my car. But now the idea of EBC discs and DS2500 pads is very tempting, as it should work out better than standard for a damn good price. I'm keeping my eye on EBC owners comments, hoping they are all positive! ;)

The disks are cheap. It's just annoying the pads are more bloody expensive than the disks. Crazy. Shirely if you're not planning on driving like a loon you don't need 100 pound pads!

Cool, well all looks positive on the EBC disk front then.

I won't be needing any discs or pads yet, discs have covered about 6K and pads about 4K. I am running DS2500 pads on std discs and no complaints. Even really good after 10 laps of the ring!!

I have a spare set of Mintex pads in the garage, these only covered about 2k but they were good for road and spirited driving, but would never use them on a track.

You're right... but then, why not buy budget tyres too? And cheap oil for the engine? Will go nicely with the cheap brake pads.

It's nice to know that your car can deal with whatever you throw at it... that's why it's worth spending £100 on pads. Plus, you're not the only person who decides when you need to brake... the fool in front who has just slammed on his brakes dictates that! And the difference between cheap and expensive pads (and tyres!) could be the difference between swapping insults and swapping insurance details ;)

Ive had my EBC discs/red stuff pads since just before christmas and i want to get rid of them already!!! They arnt anywhere near as sharp as OE ones and breaking from 70 to a junction is a nightmare- got to leave loads of room to lift off and reapply as it makes a shuddering sound and the pedal does not feel right. I fitted them myself so i know they're right and bedded them in at least 500 miles. I wouldn't recommend EBC myself but thats my opinion.
